How to Play Solitaire: Word Associations
Solitaire: Word Associations is a word matching card game where you need to match objects with their categories.
Objective
The goal is to match all cards with their correct category slots. Each category has a key card that shows the category name, and you need to place matching cards into that category's foundation slot.
Gameplay
- Stock Pile: Click the stock pile to draw cards into the waste pile.
- Waste Pile: The top card from the waste pile can be moved to tableau columns or foundation slots.
- Tableau Columns: You can move cards between columns. Only the top revealed card in each column can be moved.
- Foundation Slots: These are the category slots at the top. Place matching cards here to complete the category.
Rules
- Cards can only be placed in foundation slots if they match the category.
- You can move cards between tableau columns, but they must match the category of the card below.
- When you complete a category, all cards in that foundation slot are removed from play.
- The game is won when all categories are completed.
Tips
- Plan your moves carefully - think about which cards belong to which categories.
- Use the stock pile strategically to reveal new cards.
- Try to keep tableau columns organized by category when possible.
- Don't be afraid to undo moves if you make a mistake!
